My Walk

This morning I took my camera with me on my walk and shot these photos.  As I take my daily walk those four blocks and back, I drink in the beauty all around me.  Keeping my eyes on what is lovely brings such joy.  I apply this to my spiritual walk with the Lord as well.  I can choose what to focus on.  If I look down and looked for something unsightly, I'm sure I would find it.  But I can choose what I feed my eyes and thoughts.  As I choose to think about what all Jesus did for me so God could declare me holy and righteous in His sight, I am filled with joy!  When I choose to forgive those who caused me pain, I am free to walk in newness of life.  When I choose to praise the Lord, I choose to walk the high road of freedom in my spirit!





"Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near."  Phillippians 4:4-5



Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."  Phillippians 4:6-7

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things.  Phillippians 4:8
